A little About Bronaber…

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is at Bronaber, midway between Porthmadog and Dolgellau on the A470, a couple of miles from Trawsfynydd village itself. The site has a shop & laundry, with the Rhiw Goch Inn just a short walk away, and with bar meals & restaurant facilities, a warm welcome is always guaranteed. The site also provides a play area for children along with mountain bike hire.

The site is situated close to the Coed Y Brenin forest, which has a wide range of mountain bike trails. But if you prefer a quieter break, there are of course numerous walks in the area too! For those who prefer to spend time on a beach there are lovely safe beaches at Barmouth which stretch for miles to Harlech.

Porthmadog is a lively town with plentiful shops, excellent beaches and a working steam train that will take you up into the mountains of Snowdonia or along the Llyn peninsula.

There are many golf courses in the surrounding area and for the really adventurous the national white water rafting centre is a short drive away!
